Do you live in Pittsburgh and wanna learn how to fix a pinball machine? We want to teach you how. The Pinball Tech Class is coming back and the current plan is to start again at the beginning of February 2020. But before we pick a start date, we need some questions answered. If you are interested in attending the tech class, please fill out the survey below. UPDATE : the survey results have been counted! An announcement about the details of the first class will be made in the next 2-3 weeks!
Tech Class #1 will be on Feb 1st from 1pm-3pm at the Replay Foundation facility ( directions here ). That's less than 2 weeks, and if you are planning on coming there are several things you need to know! The class will be an opportunity to learn how to solder. You will be expected to watch the intro to soldering video before the class ( Video Here ) You will be expected to bring a soldering iron. If you don't have one, we can recommend one that is cheap but a good starter iron ( Amazon link here ) Each class costs 5 dollars per person. This money goes to covering supplies and costs for the class. We're looking forward to seeing everyone on Feb 1st!
Tech Class #2 will be on Feb 8th from 1pm-3pm at the Replay Foundation facility ( directions here ). If you are planning on coming there are several things you need to know! You are encouraged to bring a multi-meter for the hands on portion of the class. If you don't have one, we can recommend a starter multi-meter one from Harbor Freight ( Harbor Freight Multi-meter ) or Amazon ( Amazon multi-meter ). Each class costs 5 dollars per person.
